Good Morning,

A scenario i just come across.

I had set the low battery threshold to 3.7v.

The usb power had fully discharged.

I connected a fully charged usb power bank.

The Witty started the Rpi. But only lasted a couple of minutes and shutdown.

This kept on happening.

I could see by the blue light on the witty board the battery was charging.

Now, my question is, will the Rpi automatically startup when the battery has reliably charged beyound the low battery threshold or do I have to disconnect the usb power bank and reconnect it to start the RPi again?

Notes:The way the witty board is cased/enclosed is that the user cannot see the blue light and they do not have access to the on/off power button on that board.

Thanks

Unfortunately not. The firmware of Witty Pi can not see the voltage of the battery, when it is being charged, as mentioned here and here, so it can not take any action when the battery is charged to certain level. The recovery voltage threshold feature in other Witty Pi models has been replaced by the "plug in USB 5V to startup" feature in Witty Pi 4 L3V7.

Thanks.

I thought not. It did not in testing but just wanted to make sure that was the assumption.  This would only happen rarely if the camera product had not beed used for some time but like to cover all eventualities.

Many thanks.
