Hello;
I've observed that the white led of the Witty 3 Mini is rapidly flashing when the Pi Zero is shutdown. This is in a media player with separate power supplies for the Pi and Amplifier. Witty Pi is used for Pi power on/off by using the switch approach (on the separate header) - there are no schedules defined. Note the audio powersupply s still on.
Details:
5v powersupply to Pi Witty 3 on Pi Zero W 2
15v powersupply to separate amplifier
Audio Hat on the Pi Zero to feed the amplifier
Additional Hat to connect to buttons and volume control
I'm suspecting some ground loop possibly? My next step is remove parts of the wiring, eg disconnected the amplifier to see if the flashing white led persists.
But any thoughts welcome - or information on how the WhiteLED is wired up?
Thanks Matthew
The white LED is directly driven by the IO from MCU (ATtiny841).
You may check the firmware source code and see when the white LED lights up.
It is possible that your Pi's GPIO-4 pin is interfered, which may cause the white LED blinks randomly.
