Hi,

Before I could set the Power Cut Delay to max of 25 seconds. Now I can only set it to a maxium of 8 seconds?

Please always put the product name in the topic title, so we know what we are talking about.

Your screenshot shows you have configured 25 seconds for power cut delay.

Thanks for confirming. I have other units here that are fine but I did a fresh install last week on one of them and it no longer works as expected.

Must be a software issue.

Thanks Again

@andrew-simpson17, Have you checked your FirmwareID to see if it's 0 or another value ? You can see it in the log file without changing the code.

Sorry  peter-3707 I had not realised you were a customer like me.  I do not think knowing the Firmware Id will. It was working before I updated their software. So the problem must lie with their software.  So I am waiting for them to tell me they fixed whatever error they had.

@andrew-simpson17 If you have not read the forum rules yet, please do so now.

If you keep posting unrelated content, you will be blocked.

I said I have no clue why and how the firmware ID is gone. The firmware source code is open for review, there is no piece of code that can write the first byte in EEPROM. Do not twist what I said, I never confirm the problem comes from the software.

Thanks for this comment. I believe I was confused by an earlier comment from you.

I was concerned that I could not set the settings after doing repeatedly reinstalls of your software (and I used other Rpis and Sd Cards to see if that was the problem). I was not trying to 'twist what you said'. If that how it came across then apologies.  You had not answered this initial question of mine and it had been over a week.  I assumed from that you were looking into it. All I can now conclude is that this board needs returning for refund. Which I have now done. It would still be interesting to find out why it did not work.

re: forum rules

OK, had a quick look.  I am trying to discern what I said was wrong.
