Hi
is it possible to run Android OS on the vivid unit?
if so where can I build/find an image for it? the download sources don't seem to have any Android OS.

Technically speaking it is for sure possible. There are quite some RK3399 TV boxes already running Android OS.
However it takes time and effect, and we have rather limited resource for pushing this forward.
Why do you prefer Android OS instead of Debian Linux?

I have developed an Android app that works fine on Android and want to run it on this unit. running it on the phone requires extra hardware, but running it on Vivid could be integrated.
I might consider re-developing it to be able to run it on Debian.
