I just got a vivid unit and its up and running. I'm unable to hear any sound out of the speaker or headphone jack regardless of the settings. If I play a video on youtube I can see the sound in the mixer but I don't hear any audio. I've tried various profiles in the configuration tab of the volume control but it hasn't had any effect. I've also tried different sets of headphones that I know are working including 2 and 3 prong earbuds. Any ideas?

Have you flashed OS image by yourself? Or you are using the default OS comes with the device?

I was using the default OS. I reflashed it and it seems to be working now.

@mrtlikesrobots There is a known issue in the OS with Home Assistant Supervised pre-installed. The sound device is occupied by hassio audio container, and the solution is to install this add-on.
However the default OS comes with the device should not have such problem.
