I am sure i know the answer to this anyway but is there a way to change the default halt pin to something else aprt from 4 WITHOUT cutting the copper trace between "Switch" and "GPIO-4" labels on the back?

The answer is unfortunately negative. If you don't change the physical wiring, how could Witty Pi interact with the new GPIO you selected?
